I have a small confession, I've resisted joining the Chevron Fan Club! (In fact, the word "chevron" reminds me of gasoline not fashion.) Maybe it's my age or maybe it's my unwillingness to participate in passing fashion trends (I had a traumatic skinny jean experience and I'm still waiting for that trend to pass).
Regardless, chevron (in small doses) is starting to grow on me. I know, I'm a little late to the party! Better yet, I'm "fashionably late"!
I don't usually embrace horizontal stripes on my backside...or large patterns...or advertisements ("pink" or "juicy" will never be found on this hind end). However, I stumbled upon the most charming dress for Easter and couldn't resist (seen below, don't judge my closet).
Today, since it's Friday, and since I have a new slight affection for chevron, I'm giving away a few adorable cooking accessories! Life's too short not to coordinate, even in the kitchen!

Yes...BUT ONLY when I am wearing knee high winter boots. I tried skinny jeans with just flip flops but uh..no. So, I am totally on board for the straight leg trouser! Also, I love chevron pattern, however, funny story. When I first heard it, I asked "you mean like the gas station chevron"? Hahaha! Cute giveaway, Sister!

DeleteI did not like them at first but I now wear them with a little cuff to make them just above the ankle with flats or sandals.

DeleteI like skinny jeans...on skinny people. haha! I have one pair - I like to wear them with boots or in early spring with a small roll at the bottom and some cute flats. :)

Also, can I just say when "skinny" jeans sag at the knee while trying to be worn with boots... such a pet peeve of mine. :) There's my honesty... whaaaaps. But, if they were sagging AND Chevron (or if the boots were chevron) then I would have a hard time being upset. Because chevron can make just about anything cute, in my opinion hehe!
