Say Hello

When Super Hunk and I got married, the kitchen was an extension of my tiny closet. The oven was used to store shoe boxes and cereal perfectly adorned the stovetop. I literally burned water...and he loved me anyway! What a guy...a really hungry guy! :-)

I quickly became inspired and was determined to master this thing referred to as "cooking". Seven plus years later, I'm a Food Blogger, Food Columnist, and Cooking Instructor.

It's amazing what we can accomplish with ambition, determination, and a super hunky husband with a growling stomach.

The rest is history!

I hope you enjoy the site...stories of our misadventures, recipes from my crazy kitchen, and laughter from this harried life!

I'd love to hear from you so feel free to email with any questions, comments or suggestions.

Before you go, take a moment and browse my other pages.

Saucepan Shenanigans - I share recipes from my busy mom kitchen adventures. From mishaps to culinary genius, nothing is off limits (after all, this is real life and sauce happens)!

Superhero Sweets - From sweet tooth to sweet nothings, we cover it all! Any treat for any occasion.

Crafting the Cape - When your son is convinced his entire superhero existence depends on wearing a cape, this page will make you look like SUPERMOM! With a pair of scissors and an old t-shirt, I'll walk you through how to create the world's most magical cape (along with other fun DIY projects).

Much to Ponder - My brain is a haphazard place where some days I feel as if I've fallen down the rabbit hole. Naturally, I thought I'd share the madness!

Favorite Things - Along the way, with budget in mind and many hours of quality control, I've discovered treasures that make life giddy. From beauty products to kitchen gadgets, I'll give you the skinny!

I'm looking forward to our journey together!
C.

Until we meet again...
